What a beautiful and inspiring way to start my day, thank you!
Dear Tatyana, gosh this garden is sooo... beautiful in its maturity! I love the garden features by Lewis and Little, they integrate themselves so well into the garden and enhance it.
ReplyDeleteThere is lots so be inspired by, but I think my favorite photos are the ones of the giant yellow lilies with the formal clipped yews (?) as a background, the white variegated Hakone grass and the blue agapanthus. Simply a stunning combination!
Thanks for taking us on a tour!
Warm regards,
Christina

ReplyDeleteWonderful photo tour! Looks like Heronswood is being well cared for again.
ReplyDeleteI love the garden tours you share with us.... thank you for doing so!! Larry
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your gorgeous photos! I have heard a lot about Heronswood but have never had the opportunity to visit. Next time I am near that area, I must make it a priority. I love that mushroom fountain!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place, and how lucky you are to have it nearby. In general, I don't like formal, structured gardens. And yet, they are so pleasing to the eye. When I saw the photo of the clipped boxwood hedge with the focal point of a gorgeous container planter right in the middle, my spirit said Ahhhh.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely, much better now than in its past state of abandonment. Enjoyed your excellent photos, thank you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, thanks for the photos. This is one of the gardens on my bucket list!
ReplyDeleteYour fabulous images of this great garden make my heart sing. It's so nice to see that the magic of Heronswood is coming back!
