Lakewold Gardens Beautiful Tables Showcase - Dia De Los Muertos

Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)
Category: Professional - Whimsical
Designer: Barbara Bullinger

" Skull Lace 222 Fifth Ave is the first Day of the Dead china that designer Barbara Bullinger has ever come across.
She has loved this holiday because it is a joyful celebration of color, light, food, drink, flowers, sugar skulls and music.
The table will be set for Catrina the skeletal bride and her groom.
Skeletal bull dogs will be attendants.
'When we visited Mexican cemetaries, mariachi bands were playing and families were dancing near'"

October Garden Pictures

October is not bad at all. My garden still has a lot of green color.

Tetrapanax is still growing and getting higher and higher

 Cercis can. Little Woody

'Oregon Pride'

 Verbena rigida 'Polaris'

One of the raised beds with Parsley, Garlic and Kale.  More of them growing on other beds.

Fuchsia loves cool weather... Hummingbird loves Fuchsia... I love Fuchsia and Hummingbird...

Abyssynian Banana (1 of 3)

Halloween mushrooms

Autumn delights from our friends' farm

Love this ornamental red-leaf grapevine!

Foggy morning

Lemon-yellow leaves belong to Schisandra chinensis

These grape leaves actually have some pink tint

Still summery...

Cottage Garden still has many blooms (roses, verbena, nicotiana)

I wish these figs were from my own tree. But they are not mine

Thank you October!
I join Helen's End of Month View
