ReplyDeleteThank you, College Gardener!
DeleteYour garden looks so amazing and atmospheric Tatyana, love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mark! 'Atmospheric'- I love this term!!!
DeleteYou have a beautiful garden and a lovely dog!
ReplyDeleteSadun, thanks! That dog eats my grass, ha-ha!
DeleteThat's why I had to stop putting grass in the backyard, because my dog did the same thing! So now...only in the front!
Deletegorgeous photo's of a gorgeous garden!
ReplyDeleteYou are too kind, Becc! Thanks!!!
DeleteI always enjoy seeing your home and grounds. Always so pretty. I love the castle brick wall in the first photo!
ReplyDeleteDarla, thank you! Now, I love that wall even more, after you called it 'castle brick'!
DeleteThe way you take the photos makes all this rain beautiful! Love the colors and the dog.
ReplyDeleteYour photos make all this rain beautiful. Love the colors of your garden and the dog!
ReplyDeleteBarb, you make me feel good! Thank you!
DeleteSo many pictures of your really beautiful garden, thank you for sharing this. I'm fond of looking at gardens but pets I like even more. Lovely to see your dog in the garden!
ReplyDeleteJanneke, thank you! I have two dogs!
DeleteJust beautiful Tatyana! I love the hedge. And perfectly trimmed I might add!
ReplyDeleteRandy, thanks! I planted that Japanese ilex hedge in summer of 2004 or 2005. It's getting pretty big, and I need to watch it close!
DeleteTatyana, your Privet grew up very much! I love the photo of fuchsia, the very bright color, although the fall's coming.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nadezda! That fuchsia is Double Otto, very hardy plant.
DeleteYour bird bath and German Shepherd are very handsome! We are very lucky to garden in this part of the country. I must keep reminding myself of this on all these rainy days.
ReplyDeleteOutlawgardener, thank you! You are so right! My lawn is so soggy now, and this is just the beginning...
DeleteBeautiful, breathtaking photos, as usual, Tatyana. Your garden looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteGrace, thank you! I think all this moisture makes it look fresh and bright.
DeleteWhat a great backyard. I know you spend a lot of time back there. Is that the puppy?? Wow, time has gone by! So big.
ReplyDeleteJanet, thank you! Yes, this is Amur who is on my blog header picture! That was in 2005 when he smelled the poppies. He is 7 1/2 years old now. He has a friend, a 1 year old German Shepherd who keeps him young!
DeleteHi Tatyana, your garden still looks wonderful and your dogs are adorable. They look like they enjoy walking around in the garden, having a sniff here and there. I hope they don't dig or do anything naughty. Best Wishes Karen.
ReplyDeleteKaren, thanks! Our dogs just eat grass!
DeleteJust lovely Tatyana! I love your Fuchsia and the Autumn fern is so beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteLona, thank you! I divided one fuchsia bush and planted its divisions here and there to have bright spots in fall.
DeleteI see what you mean about the lush green. This is the time of year I see the difference in our zones, mine all yellow and brown, bare trees and the flowers all but gone. Today, I will mulch before the snow falls.
ReplyDeleteEileen
Eileen, thank you! Yes, our zones are so different. Our garden will be green the whole winter with some blooms (aralia, helleborus, etc.)
