Wind. Rain. Garden.
Plants: Rose - Hybrid Tea 'Lasting Love', rose bush - Knock Out, pink Digitalis, flowering shubs - Escallonia, hedge - Ilex crenata, Japanese maple - Shindeshojo, containers - white Nicotiana.

  6. Thank you, friends! We needed this rain for the garden! Also, it makes everything in the garden look so bright and fresh! Sun causes everything to fade and look pale. But now, we need sun!!! Enough rain!

    What a wonderful view for a rainy morning. I love the way the photograph looks so lush and serene -- until you notice the wind-whipped maple leaves in the left foreground. Very evocative! -Jean
