Whom do you want to be in your next life?
A fat cat? He has the best view...
**
Disclosure: The squirrel and the cat are not mine. Unfortunately, I don't have such gorgeous views as they have!
The dog is mine, and he is the puppy in my blog's header picture.

  1. Oh my goodness! That IS a FAT cat! My cats wouldn't ever let those squirrels near that feeder. Your cat looks like it's well fed enough that it has no need to chase squirrels!

  2. Love, love, love the pictures. The animals have it made at your house; especially that fat cat. Carla

  3. Thank you!!!
I added a disclosure: the cat and the squirrel are not mine! People, if I had a view as the view in the 'water' pictures, I wouldn't be able to garden and to blog! I would just lie down there and admire the view! Just feed me!

  4. Tatyana, looking at my dog right now with his feet up in the air lying on my husband's favorite chair, I would choose to come back as him!

  5. My husband would try to steal your magnificent German Shepard if he saw it. He loves German Shepards. We had a huge one the kids named, " Cookie ", which for a German Shepard was a ridiculous name. She was a very sweet dog though, take care, Gina

  6. Well your dog has the most comfortable spots to lay. Anywhere but on the towel LOL!
That is a fat cat. He probably doesn't know what a mouse is. But the water would be so tempting to look at all the time.
    Have a wonderful weekend.

  9. What a fantastic view you have. What a life, can I come hang out on your deck with the animals? I dont mind dressing up in am animal suit if that makes it more acceptable.

  10. Loved these shots!
    That little rodent squirrel made it in, huh? Here, it is the chipmunks driving us crazy...they eat all my birdseed. :0}

  11. Darn those clever squirrels! They sure make for good entertainment though.
Love your German Shepard, he looks so cozy there all snuggled up in your nice patio chair. I would snuggle up there too, it's so beautiful.

    Have a great weekend!

  12. Your squirrel post brought a much needed smile today! Such a lovely view and the seating area looks so welcoming!

  13. Both seem very spoilt and content - and so it should be. As a dog Missy would never want to come back as a cat, but if she did it would be a fat cat.

  15. As I was looking at the squirrel pictures I was wondering if that was the Hood Canal bridge and thinking how lucky you are to have that view :) I love your outdoor seating area, your dog looks quite comfy there.

  17. Oh, those squirrels are so smart!
And so are the cat and dog, finding the best spots for a rest. What a life, huh? And what a view.
    Have a great weekend!

  22. Your shepherd is very beautiful I love dogs, but have a fat black and white cat at this time. She is very old now and outlasted both my dogs, even though I rescued her first

  23. In my next life I'd like to be a bird - so I will need to avoid cats, fat or thin!

  24. Sometimes I think it would be great to just lie around and have someone take care of me. ;>)) I love seeing your dog after seeing the puppy for so long now. What a luxurious outdoor seating area! Funny how the squirrel is inside the guard. Or not so funny to the owner. That kitty does seem to have it made!

  25. Nobody wants to be a squirrel? Majority of us wants to be a lazy fat cat. Dreams...dreams...

  29. The first photograph is a classic...those squirrels are just too clever when it comes to birdfeeders. I must admit, that lovely cat seems to have a perfect life!

  30. Impressive squirrel! Animals do know how to enjoy life and you capture them well.
