  2. Oh we are truly spoilt for choice Tatyana :) Wishing you happiness, good health and peace in 2010!

  3. Wow, the wildflower gardener card could be from my homestate (Alaska) so I gotta love that one. I think I'm going to go with the sandy soil card because a warm beach sounds divine this time of year. Creative post, thanks!

  8. Wow, Tatyana! What a great post! A lot of time and thought went into this. The three that spoke to me are the cottage, desert and romantic.

  12. Tatyana, So many beautiful choices! I have to say, the sled dog lover in me (I have an Alaskan Malamute named Yukon) would pick the Gone-to-Dogs, the succulents are some of my favorites, and the wild flowers remind me of our mountains. So, many, many Happy New Years wishes to you! Kathy

  13. I think I'm a romantic wildflower gardener who has gone to the dogs! I was thinking, how creative you are and how much time it takes to do that post. You are a special lady. Thank you, and Happy New Year to you, too!

  16. Oh, I can't decide ~ too many beautiful choices Tatyana! I fit in several categories ~ I probably love the cottage garden style the most but I do a lot of container gardening and indoor gardening (because of how long our winters are). I also just started water gardening last year. What I'd love is to have my toes in the sand right now like yours were....!
    Happy New Year!!

  37. Hi Girlfriend~~ You are so gosh darn creative! I love this post. What I want to know is, what kind of gardener are you? I've seen hints of cottage. And of course, children. [Handsome!] Indoor? Well, that Chia is looking mighty fine. Oriental? Yes--this photo is from your yard, isn't it? Tropical? You must be. I've seen your sense of humor at work. Succulent? Yes. This is from your garden too, isn't it? You're definitely a romantic. If you're not a wildflower GARDENER, you're definitely a wildflower sightseer. I'm not sure about the gardening for food. Dogs? Definitely a yes. Your banner is a dead giveaway, not to mention your handsome sled dogs. Can't do much gardening with this delectable sight of sand and sea lulling you into suntan land.

I suppose I'm a little bit of all of these too. But mostly I'm a tropical gardener. Those garden art people are LOL funny.

Best wishes for the coming year, Tatyana.

    Answering the questions:
-Desert garden - could it be a cotton candy grass?
-All the pics are taken by me, but only the following are from my own place: kids, indoor, vegetable and formal. I, myself, am an eclectic gardener, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I am; not sure what kind of gardener I am because I loved all of them. Partial to the sandy toes and the german shepherd though. Just love the beach and dogs but that has nothing to do with gardening. Your photos are all beautiful and thanks for the good wishes I hope you and your family enjoy good health and happiness and everything you are hoping for. Happy New Year!

  54. Now let me see - what kind of gardener am I today? Furry friended? Sandy soiled? Food gardener? (Stop that, Jack, the holiday season is over. Tatyana should have posted a salad anyway, not a steak!) Hmmm... Romantic? Wildlife? One of those two I guess. Today, anyway!

    ReplyDelete

  61. Hi Tatyana, a healthy and wealthy New Year for you! That collection of New Year cards are both fabulous and amusing for me. I think you are also amused yourself when you are posting them. They are collections of treasures as well. Thanks for all of them....But my choice of garden is not there, lol. The biodiversity garden! Please visualize it, i actually have it in my site, but of course the photographer is not as creative with composition and light, lol again. You are inspiring Tatyana.

  62. Great post Tatyana - I'm spoiled for choice! I've narrowed it down to the Oriental Garden (obviously!) but have also claimed water and vegetable ....maybe I'm just a bit greedy for more of your lovely photos!

May 2010 bring you the best of the best!

  68. I think, after going through the choices a few times, that I am a strange amalgam of many of these gardens. So, I can't choose one, but I can choose ALL of them plus a miniature faerie garden too.

    Happy New Year!
