Since our house is surrounded by huge conifers, I took a walk to see all the beautiful autumn colors.

Looking at this picture tells us what trees are most prevalent in the Pacific Northwest. Right, evergreen trees.*
Rob's post So Much To Do
reminded me about zillions of garden chores. While he has to deal with walnuts, I have to pick up pine cones. Where are the squirrels when I need them?

Actually, the name of this post is not correct. Did you notice how I did my "walk"?
There are two pictures which answer the question. But it's not important, I just wanted you to enjoy October in one of our northwestern neighborhoods.

Have a great day!

What gorgeous Fall pictures Tatyana! I love the reds, especially where the brightest garden was.All of the red leaves fallen upon the ground were even pretty. All of the green makes the Fall colors pop even more.
ReplyDeleteWhat glorious fall pictures! You're so lucky to live somewhere so vibrant. The reds are spectacular, and the hydrangea is beyond belief. Really fabulous post. :)
ReplyDeletePS. I like your mode of transportation ;)
What a beautiful place you live and lovely photos
ReplyDeleteYou live in a very beautiful neighborhood. Those trees with their vivid colors are gorgeous. Thank you for taking us along.
ReplyDeleteTatyana you're going to have to stop this. This is exactly the sort of thing that makes people want to move here. You know the rules. Rain, rain, rain, grey skies, rain, grey skies...We have a reputation to uphold you know. LOL
ReplyDeleteReally gorgeous pictures. Your neighborhood looks devine!
Hello Tatyana,
ReplyDeleteYou live in an absolutely gorgeous area! I like it when people let the bright autumn leaves lie on the ground for a while because that just adds even more beauty like some of your neighbors have done.
Tatyana,
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, much prettier than here in the NC Piedmont. Great tour thanks!
Hello tatyana, thank you very much for stopping by my blog and leaving me such a sweet comment.
ReplyDeleteAs I don´t like autumn very much I believe you have opened my eye to a whole new world which I appreciate so, so much... thanks for these amazing autumn images of your neighbourhood.
Muchos cariños

Hi Tatyana~~ I noticed those two bicycles!! You can't fool me. LOL Actually I would have preferred riding too. Is this your neighborhood? It's beautiful. Not just the pristine plantings but the houses themselves are works of art. I'm glad we haven't had any serious windstorms this year. The leaves look so much nicer still attached to the trees.
ReplyDeleteЗахватывает дух!!!!
ReplyDeleteTatyana, Your neighbors have beautiful fall color for all our viewing enjoyment! Thank you for the lovely tour...It was exactly what I needed today! gail
ReplyDeleteTatyana, simply amazing images, simply amazing
ReplyDeleteScott
Tatyana, picture perfect! Many of your compositions belong on a magazine cover. Thank you and happy Autumn to you.
ReplyDeleteTatyana,
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful part of our country! Such striking wonderful foliage going on where you live.
Rosey
Tatyana, these are the most beautiful Fall pictures! Thanks for the tour. You're surrounded by such spectacular beauty!
ReplyDeleteOn a bicycle? Still, very, very pretty "walk".
ReplyDeleteSpectacular photos, Tatyana! This is a gorgeous display of fall color. I thought the Northwest was always rainy:) Instead, that seems to be the everyday forecast here in the Midwest this fall. I noticed the bicycle in one of the photos; I guess I need to look a little more closely to find the second photo of it.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Tatyana! Your neighborhood is so pretty! Colors are varied and lovely! Great shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! (no worries, though, I would not want to live that far north)...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful neighborhood! I love our mild weather down here, but with photos like that I long for 4 seasons!
ReplyDeleteTatyana, I so enjoyed your beautiful fall pictures. We don't get much fall color here in Austin, so I love seeing it on other garden blogs.
ReplyDeleteEvery picture is spectacular! Wow! I am speechless. I'm going to move over to your neighbourhood tonight, in my dreams of course.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I just LOVE all those colours! We drove thrue the beechforest yesterday and the colours where amazing. Sad to say that we didn't have time to stop and my camera were at home. Your neighborhood must be great to live in /gittan
ReplyDeleteOh how I would love to see fall colors like that around here!! Beautiful, that is a bright yard, the white light did stick out a little and bicycles are fun!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Tatyana, what beautiful colors and great composition! Your photos are really great. I love the variety of colors. The trees that you have in your region are not necessarily the ones we have here in Virginia, though there are some that overlap. Love the hydrangea picture with the blue conifer to contrast the bloom and foliage of the hydrangea. Each photo is its own WOW! Great post.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall colors Tatyana! I love the one with the mossy rocks, birch bark, and Japanese maple.
ReplyDeleteWhat an gorgeously epic post..has to be one of my faves now! You rock! Gorgeous job..beautiful and stunning...wonderful tribute to nature's beauty!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous. I sure wish we had that gorgeous color here. No leaf peeping in this area.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness....what beautiful photos! We used to live close to Seattle and I remember the beautiful falls and you have definitely captured it! I love the photo with the hydrangea. :)
ReplyDeleteCute, Tatyana ;) I love the distant view of Mt. Olympic, just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm going blind...I only saw one photo with the bike!
Lynn
Нечеловеческая красота какая-то, Таня! как картинки из сказки, не могу представить, что все так в реальности и выглядит, что они такие на самом деле, все эти краски .... Какое счастье видеть это день за днем! Замечательные фотографии, Таня!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous autumn photos. There are some lovely colours there.
ReplyDeleteWow your garden & neighborhood is in full autumn glory at the moment!
ReplyDeleteOh they are all just breathtaking, Tatyana! I especially love the colorful deciduous leaves against the stalwart evergreens. The hydrangea shot is so full of depth, three dimensional! Boo to the white lampost. It should be black, or a nice aged copper! :-)
ReplyDeleteFrances
Such spectacular photos!! Love the yellows and reds!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful walk. Your neighborhood is just beautiful. The colors are breathtaking and your photos are great as usual.
ReplyDeleteYou are indeed blessed to be surrounded by such beauty, Tatyana, and you've captured the show beautifully before the leaves fall :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome color Tatyana!
ReplyDeleteВеликолепие!

Танечка, фотографии твои - замечательнейшие! Невозможно налюбоваться!
И создание с тыквами у твоего дома - кра-со-та!
Благодарю тебя за доставленную радость видеть всё это!
Fabulous colors Tatyana. I wish I could fly out and buy one of those "for sale" houses and live in your neighborhood ~ it's just beautiful. I agree that all the evergreens make the vivid fall colors "pop" even more. It looks like they might be at their peak right now?? Enjoy it while it lasts.
ReplyDeleteAlso many thanks for your comments & wishes about my daughters hospitalization. I hope your boys are recovering now and won't take any turns for the worse. I learned so much more than I ever wanted to about Swine Flu while we were in the hospital. I'm not a doctor but I'd be happy to share any info if you want it. Hopefully, everything is fine now tho and you can put any worries behind you.
Tatyana! No matter how good the camera and the subject matter, and they are supurb, it takes a great photographer to produce such ravishingly beautiful shots! Thanks for sharing. Jack
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful! I so enjoyed the 'walk'. We do NOT see these lovely fall colors down here in s.e. FL, so this was a real treat for me.
ReplyDeleteFlowerLady
Tatyana, do you know what kind of Cherry trees those they are? The burgundy ones are so special!
ReplyDeleteI am mesmerized. I have never seen such bright fall colors ever. Hydrangeas are looking great as well.
ReplyDeleteStunning photos and yards. I am so so jealous of your location. Climate wise, I've already decided that the pacific nw is ideal for me, now all that remains is to find work in the area. Oh right, good luck. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours, Tatyana, and so nice to be able to view them in such a large format. How do you manage it in Blogger?
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful walk around the neighborhood. Glorious pictures! You certainly found plenty of beauty. The colors are superb! Thanks for taking us along.
