  7. I love the layers! The grass, the stone, the perennials, and the evergreen trees. Are those blue spikes delphiniums, lupines? Sun certainly does make a difference, and I could really use some now! Since I got home yesterday, we have had dense, low, grey clouds AND cold AND rain. But your picture raises my spirits.

    1. Jason, thank you! Those plants are lupins. For several years, they failed in my garden (or I failed to grow them), and suddenly, they started to grow like crazy! We are having rain, again. I'm glad I took that picture and caught that moment!
