  5. Are those Lily of the Valley in the Woodwardia sp.fern?
These looks so tropical but they are so different from the ones that are found in my region.
    Marvelous!

  10. Oh my ~ the columns & water feature are incredible. It looks so lush ~ I knew Washington was green but I didn't know it could look like the tropics! What an amazing garden ~ I can only imagine what the new garden looks like. Can't wait to see. Thanks for this tour Tatyana ~ you really did a nice job sharing Heronswood. I hope the garden gets the kind of wonderful new owner it deserves.

  11. I just wanted to thank you for posting these pictures. Heronswood is a special place for gardeners, and the fact that its future is up in the air is a little disturbing.

  12. Hi Tatyana, I am glad I stopped by your blog, again. What a gorgeous post about the tropical part of Heronswood Gardens. Your photos are amazing! I just love the big leaved tropical plants scattered around in the woods. With the sculptures, columns, fountain and urns it becomes a living peace of art. So inspiring! Thanks for sharing photos of this unique garden.
