  2. Hi Tatyana,

Ohhh I love the blue and purple versions! We used to have the yellow one all over a few years ago when I lived in a different house but haven't seen the blues in real life before!

    Very pretty indeed :)

Thanks for the comments on my potting/container gardening system that my husband built. He is very handy in the garden and very creative! I can't take the credit, that for sure!
    Thanks for sharing your photos!

  11. That is a gorgeous blue! Lovely, lovely!

I went over to the White Garden at Duke Gardens yesterday -- you are right -- it is wonderful! I didn't have my camera since we didn't plan to go, but stopped on the way to another place. I took a few cell phone photos.

  17. The corydalis is a very pretty plant, I have a shade garden that is sparsely planted, it just may have found a new plant.

  20. I remember when those first came into the garden centers. We were one of the only stores to carry it for awhile. Oh it was the darling of the gardeners....

    Yours are beautiful.

  22. Tatyana, this Corydalis elata is quite a lovely plant that I have never seen before. Thanks for featuring it on your blog! I am always on the hunt for beautiful blue flowering plants and will try to find out if I can grow it here in San Diego, Southern California. Judging from the way it looks probably not. It seems to like moisture and humidity, which we don't exactly have :-( .

  25. oooh, I'm so glad I came by ~ I've been absent for quite awhile but how lucky to stop today ~ your corydalis are BEAUTIFUL. The very first photo is a total knock out. I tried corydalis a few years back but it definitely wasn't happy in my garden. I can see they love yours. The yellow foliage of 'berry exciting' is very attractive too.

  28. Your Corydalis are gorgeous, Tatyana...you seem to have the magic touch, and, just the right climate! My 3 varieties are not large yet...and I just noticed today thatone of them is completely dead...C. 'Blue Heron'. Sad! Our extreme 100+ temps were just too much for it, I think. C. 'Berry Exciting' and C. 'Canary Feathers' both did produce decent blooms, but the plants are not anything to look at...certainly when I compare them to yours!! I love your first blue one, that shade of blue is just stunning;-)
