Pretty darn cute they perch repetitively like that. The shot on the birdbath is a sweet image with his tail straight up.

  5. I think it is the same bird, how funny that it likes to perch on top of the Yew.

  6. They look alike and YES they love that same Japanese yew. Beautiful pictures. I saw a bird in my yard that was incredibly beautiful. I'd never seen one like it. It was vibrant with colors of bright yellow and it looked like red or orange. I wanted to get my camera to capture it, but it was skittish and each time I moved, it flew away.

  7. I don't know if it's the same bird but maybe YEW know. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.)
Your palm survived the winter? Mine didn't. Sigh.

  11. The first bird told the second bird that it "just had to go check this place out". LOL! Looks like a good lookout spot.

  13. Laughing at Lona's comment.
One bird looks a little darker, doesn't it?
Sure seem to be a popular spot.

  18. Thank you everyone! The first bird was very fluffy and looked almost round, like a ball. Its behavior was unusual and attracted my attention: it was jumping on and off the top of the yew repeatedly. On the second day, the bird was not fluffy, but also was doing the same trick. Is it a type of some workout for them?
