  3. No words can describe the image. When I was there I just was silenced by the rows and rows of crosses. You just feel a reverence come over you when your there at all who served and then to think of all of the markers in other military graveyards in other countries it is so humbling. Your mind cannot comprehend it until you have seen them in person.

  4. Heartbreaking and raises the question of trying to find another way. Bless all their brave trusting hearts. When it is truly necessary to fight to save lives and maintain precious freedom... I am all for it, but when young men and women are sent like pawns to senseless wars... wars that our own generals say cannot be won... I am enraged and sickened at how these men and women and the innocent peoples of distant lands trying to live their daily lives are just considered ... how is it put... acceptable losses... (not sure if that is right)... as if any lost life is acceptable. Oh, I know some may think on Memorial Day ... one should not speak this way, but I want to remember the ones that were lost and try to learn from past mistakes ... stop killing or maiming or mentally and spiritually destroying lives. There are many portraits in hospitals and rehabs... maybe a neighbor... the world over, that directly relates to this amazing photo. Well Done Tatyana.

  11. Such a photo always brings a tear to my eye ... and it makes my heart swell with the pride of so many mothers who watched their babies go off and never return.

  14. Such a waste of life. One of those men may have found a cure for cancer or some other wonderful thing.
