Thank you JC for thinking of me!
The award states: “You are a hard worker. Someone who takes the scrap out of life and builds things with it. Someone who has so much going on that others can see the evidence of it all around you. You are one who contributes mightily to life.”
Here are the rules:
First, you have to tell your readers 10 things about you they may not already know, but are true.
First, you have to tell your readers 10 things about you they may not already know, but are true.
Second, you have to tag 10 people with the award.
Third, you have to let the people you've given the award to, know that they've received this award from you.
Finally, make sure you link back to the person who awarded you.
I am tagging four people. I know that some of them don't like tagging and don't accept awards, and it's absolutely fine!

Interesting!
Ha ha, I don't have a cell phone either!
Okay, Tatyana, Some amazing things you've accomplished, but come on, no cellphone? LOL! Your twins are very handsome. I hope the heart surgeries have been successful and he is doing well now.
#11: You are a great gardener. Wait. We already know this.
So, do I like you?
Hi there Tatyana, did I know any of these 'amazing' things about you before? NO... Did I like you then? (You tell ME!!) ha ha. These are terrific accomplishments, experiences and adventures, and even extraordinary situations! I would have liked you regardless, though...one can tell from the way you 'talk' that you are a very kind, sweet soul. I hope your son is doing well, is healthy, and that he will have a wonderful life!
Hi Victoria! I thought that I was unique! Well, welcome to the club! The more the merrier! Will see who can last longer!
Hi Grace! Thank you! You know the answer, don't you?! As for the cellphone, I don't want to start a discussion, but one of the reasons I can live without it, is our family life style. Also, I don't like to be disturbed, interrupted, bugged, etc., etc. I think I'd get it if all the people used their phones in a civilized way if you know what I mean. Anyway, I'll last as long as I can, but one day, I'll join the majority.
Jan, thank you SO much! We haven't finished yet. It never ends. But we are a happy family, and I wouldn't be me without this experience. Thank you, dear.
I LOVE it!!! So interesting, I already knew you were amazing...so this just tops it off!!! I don't have a house phone, just a cell phone but sometimes I wish I didn't have it!!!! I hope that your son is better and doesn't have any more problems. They are cute!!!!!
Hi there Tatyana, my goodness what an interesting life you have lead. Your travels have taken you some very out of the way places! A PhD.??? whoaaa so should we address you as Dr. Tatyana? What is the degree in?
Your boys are sure cute. They have your eyes.
If you had a cell phone you could make the same blunder I did on the 4th! hhahahahaha
Hi Tatyana, what an interesting life you have had. So much travel to very interesting and exciting places.
I hope the surgeries have been successful and your son is well.
It is always fun to learn little facts about online friends.
Marnie
Thank you Dirt Princess! Thank you Janet! I believe that every person has a story behind him/her and that a book can be written about each of us. Janet, the degree is in Ecomomics. I was teaching in the college for 11 years. I read about your blunder! Should we chain our glasses to our necks or ears?!
See why I liked this one ...
Very interesting info about you ...
Glad I picked you ...
And, my cell phone sits in my car for er's only ...
Very interesting! Lovely pictures too.
Wow what an amazing life! I had a sense that you had an interesting life because some how it came through your in blog posts. So cool! Good for you not having a cell phone. I'm way too addicted to my darn blackberry. -Jackie
You have had an interesting life. You are much braver than me!
Your sons are absolutely precious!
Hi Tatyana Firstly thank you for picking me to pass this on to. I will have to think about it it is not an easy post to do especially being at such busy time.
I love your post so interesting.
Fun post and you listed many many things I didn't know about you--like all of them :) What wonderful experiences you've had. You've led a full life already!
You sure do have an interesting life Tatyana, and you have great looking twin boys. There was a time not too long ago when we did not have cell phones. Great post Tatyana!
What an interesting life you've lived! One of my bucket list things to do is to visit China. To have lived there must've been something.
Tatyana, I am happy to know more about you today. You have led a life that I can only dream about. The very best of luck wishes from me to you and your twins.
Потрясающе!!! Сколько нового из этого наградного флешмоба я узнал про тебя !:-))) Фото мальчишек твоих обалденное! Золотишко, значит, мыла?!;-))))))))))
Now I like you even MORE! Hard to pick just 10 but I'm glad you shared these!! LOL on the cell phone...I can never find mine!!
Lynn
Thank you Marnie, Emily, Jackie, Catherine, Miss Daisy, Cathy, Autumn Belle! After reading your nice comments, I am starting to look at my life kind of from aside. Hmm, it does look interesting! Thank you my friends!
JC, it's because of you I dug through the facts of my life and found these photos. Thank you!
Joanne, as I said before, I totally understand you. It took some time for me to write this post. Also, it's not easy to tell about yourself to the people whom you never met in person. Just know that I love your blog and you deserve this award.
Tina, you are absolutely right: it was something to live in China! Those 10 months changed me and changed my life.
Hi Tatyana! These are fascinating tidbits about you. Isn't it amazing what you don't know about people? You've really had a wide range of life experiences, I think that has to make you an interesting person. Kudos to you for not having a cell phone too! I think that's great.
Fascinating! I hadn't seen pictures of you before, Tatyana, but your Russian ancestry is very evident in your face. It's something about the bone structure and your smile. Your boys, too - aren't they gorgeous?
I have a cellphone but I don't use it very much. I spend far too much time sitting at a desk: if people want to catch me, they can catch me there!
WOW! You get around the globe don't you? It's hard for me to get out of Alabama. LOL--Randy
Tatyana.... once upon time there were no cellphones... Life was tolerable then..., push it even earlier, there were no fixed lines of Alexander Graham Bell phones..Life has always been tolerable in which ever era we are in... Interesting 10 things Tatyana.
Happy Gardening,
~ bangchik
What a fun thing to do! Your sons are so handsome and I would so never get in a small plane over a glacier. The Rockies was enough for me for a lifetime!
Great and very interesting post. We learned alot about you today. What an adorable picture of your sons - they are precious!
Funny, we didn't have a cell phone until after Bob retired from his job and then drove truck for a while - we kept it after he quit. But I don't turn it on - it's for emergencies and long distance. I hate that everyone has to walk around with a phone hanging on their ear and my family still bugs me to turn mine on. I do not, however, have caller ID and call (flipping) waiting - I've been fine all these years without it. LOL
You have some very interesting things in your history!!!
Kathleen,Thanks! You are right - we know almost nothing about people, but there is the whole world inside each of us.
Victoria, it's interesting what you said about a face. Hmm... I remember, when I lived in Russia, we could recognize a foreigner just looking at his/her skin. Americans especially seemed to have kind of pale, groomed facial skin.Russian faces had more sun tan and wrinkles!Isn't it funny?!
Randy, thank you! I wouldn't say around the globe, but I did some travel. I've been to both Koreas, China, Japan, GB, France, Germany Canada, Mexico, Ukraine. That's it. I traveled a lot in the U.S.
Bangchik, thank you!I think I'll join the majority when the majority will switch to a new type of phone! I am wondering myself how long I can last without a cell phone.
Heather, thanks! It was before children!
Linda, thanks! I hear what you are saying and agree with you. It's nice to have it just in case.
Darla, thanks for stopping by! I think you also could tell us some interesting facts from your life! Everyone has something in a pocket! The funny thing is that I almost forgot some moments. JC made me revisit my life.
Very interesting! Your sons are beautiful.
Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
Wow, you have done so much and seen so many places. I think that is just so awesome. But, I have t say I am shocked about the no cellphone, lol.
Jake
One word Tatyana: WOW! You certainly have lived a full and exciting life. I'm very much impressed and only a tad bit jealous. ;) I enjoyed this post as well as learning more about you. Sounds like you are very deserving of this nice award.
Hi Tatyana, it was very interesting getting to know all those things about you and your life. Hope your son is okay now and won't be needing any more heartsurgery / gittan
Hi Tatyana
Thanks for thinking of me!
More importantly, I hope that all is OK following you son's three operations.
Well, I was all due to visit Moscow back in '93 with a girlfriend when the foreign office advised against travel due to the situation between Yeltsin and Rutskoi.
You have lived one heck of an EXCITING life!!! Kudos to you!!!!!
:-)
Michelle
Glad you stopped by my site. I am in the Canadian Southwest so we are not far apart. I love the rainforests but could do with less rain on a regular basis.
Your gardens are very happy that is for sure.
Tatyana, The last photo of the moss-covered phone booth is PERFECT and I love it. Hope the surgeries on your precious young one are behind him and he is as healthy as can be. You are also even more dear to us having shared some of the things that have made you, you. Sorry I've been so 'quiet' lately but the pull of the outdoors and other projects have trumped my blog visiting... :-<
Glad I got to visit yours today!
Wow! Sounds like there is no grass growing on you. the award was well deserved.
WOW! I am amazed at all the different places you have been and the adventures you have had.....wow!
This was a fun meme and I am delighted to get to know you better.
Have a delicious weekend!
Hot and humid here...

Hi Tatyana~
Thanks for sharing! I love getting to know a little bit about the person behind the garden blog. You have had some really unique experiences in life :)
~Karrita
The ten things about you were very enjoyable to read. Many of us have surprising things to share, I am sure. I know I do. You mentioned living in China, and I lived in Turkey, for starters.
Good to meet you.
What an adventurous life you've had and how can you manage without a cell phone!!! That's the eleventh thing! gail
Tatyana,
Your twins are so beautiful.
