My reward for the outstanding performance in my garden-'08 goes to

Space 24-36" apart.
Soil: Minimum pH: 5.6 • Maximum pH: 7.5

  1. I think it's a well deserved award, he went above and beyond to keep blooming even in the snow!

  2. It's a tough call which is prettier--the snow crystals or the petals, but I have to go with those persistent petals!

  3. Wow. It's a beautiful flower all by itself but with a snow cap it's quite miraculous. This says something about the gardener too. Nice going.

  6. It is such a pretty picture. It shows contrasts in nature that just does not fit. Snow on blooms. I do not think that Mr. Double Otto can read its planting description :)
    Beautiful shot.

  7. That is great to have a fuchsia blooming that long and in the snow. How long after the picture was taken did it continue to bloom?

  10. Hi Tatyana

I like Fuchsias. I sometimes grow a triphylla type called 'Thalia'

It's spectacular. I posted about it.

  18. It IS a beautiful flower. they are sold way down here but don't last much longer than getting them home. I don't think they like our humidity. Yours seems to like your snow.
